PORTRAITS

Often when considering portraits my work moves fluidly between representation and abstraction as I follow an intuitive, process-driven approach. Rather than pursuing a fixed style or popular trends, I attempt to engage in an active dialogue with the paint itself—allowing the work to shape its own direction. My portraits are equally visceral and unfiltered as I strive to capture the sitter’s humanity, what lies beneath constructed identity. I approach each painting as a search for emotional truth—trusting the medium, embracing discomfort, and following the moment of discovery wherever it leads.
