Inside Out

In 2015 I asked several artists, writers and other creatives I knew to let me photograph, interview and then paint them. I wanted to reveal aspects of their personalities hidden beneath the public image they projected. Through that process I developed a loose, expressive painting style that allowed me to fully express the inner selves of both my subjects and myself.
